I already have a key. How do I launch the game?
In order to run games you need an account for these platforms:
with an activated game key purchased on these platforms or from MGCloud.
If you have an account with a previously activated game key, you need to click on the "Play" button in the game card, a launcher will appear with a request to enter your game platform username and password. After entering these data the game starts.
I have a problem with the key activation. What to do?
You will not be able to run the game in the VK Play Cloud, if:
- You bought a key in Uplay and activated it in Steam
- You bought a key in Steam, but activated it in Uplay
- You bought a key for another region of the world
You cannot use accounts with keys for other world regions (including multi-region accounts).
When buying a key from an online store, be sure to check both the region and platform for which key is being sold.
Do not forget about the existence of regional and platform restrictions - having an activated game key on your account does not guarantee the launch of the game on the VK Play Cloud.
In the CIS, you cannot legally use keys issued for other regions of the planet (including multi-region keys), because the verification is performed at the level of the game platform and according to the rules of the rights holder.
Example of a game that cannot be launched on the VK Play Cloud, from a well-known key-selling site:
If you try to enter your account username and password with a key for another region of the world, you will receive a message that you need to re-enter your key.
This means that your key is not accepted and will not be accepted even if you enter it manually.
How do I know that your key is for Russia and the CIS?
When you try to download the game the language selection will appear:
- the correct account will have Russian;
- Global version will not have Russian language.
Acquired in Steam keys, usually have a mention "Steam" in the title.
Not all games have this mention, but when you try to install the game the Steam client will definitely appear.
