How does it work?
If you have an active subscription you buy a game from us and run it in VK Play Cloud.
If you already have the game (bought a key from us or another store), you can also run it using the username and password from the game platform account.
Thus, you get the most demanding to "hardware" blockbusters in excellent quality on any computer or laptop.
Do I have to buy games to run them on the VK Play Cloud?
Yes, but not all of them. If the game is distributed by the game publisher on a paid basis, it cannot be free on VK Play Cloud, as it would be a violation of the interests of the game publishers.
A subscription gives you the ability to run games whose keys have already been purchased.
Buying a game on the VK Play Cloud, you get a key and can use it not only to run the game on the service, but also on your computer.
How do I launch a game if I already have a key?
To run the game, the user will need an account on the gaming platform with an activated game key purchased on that platform or in the VK Play Cloud.
If you have an account with a previously activated key, you need to log in to the game card on the site and click "Play".
A launcher will appear with a proposal to enter your login and password for the game platform, once you enter these data the game starts.

The main client of the VK Play Cloud service integrated into the Game Center.
For stable service performance on Windows and MAC platforms, the following is required:
OS version: Windows 7, 10, 11; macOS 10.13 and higher
Processor 1.5 GHz or more and a video card with hardware support for H.264 decoding standard
Processor from 2.6 GHz and a video card without hardware support for H.264 decoding standard.
DirectX 9.0 c (for Windows), Metal (for Mac).
To run games in configurations higher than 60 FPS, you will need a 4th generation Intel® processor graphics system (Intel HD 4000) / GeForce 500 Series / AMD radeon R5 (and higher).

Launching the game from a browser
We have launched the ability to run the game directly from the browser, taking away the unnecessary effort of installing apps or clients.
This method is ideal for older systems, or limited PC devices.
Supported platforms and browsers for this type of session launching:
- Windows (browsers: Google Chrome, Yandex browsers, Edge and Opera);
- MacOS (browsers: Google Chrome and Safari);
- Linux (browsers: Chrome);
- Running a session from browser is also available on ChromeOS/ChromiumOS.

Launching on Android and Android TV devices
Our Cloud service is now available on Android smartphones, tablets and TV/TV set-top boxes based on Android.
Android 7.0 or higher is required to be able to play games.

Common minimum requirements for the Internet channel
It is important to understand that when you connect to a gaming session, the connection stability to our servers is more important, but there are certain requirements to the connection speed as well:
The minimum required speed of information exchange with the server of the cloud gaming service is from 10 Mbit/s.
Recommended speed:
10 Mbps to run games at 30 FPS, HD (1280x720);
15 Mbps for 30 FPS, Full HD (1920x1080);
20 Mbps for 60 FPS, Full HD (1920x1080);
25 Mbps for 120 FPS, Full HD (1920x1080);
35 Mbps for 120 FPS, 2K and 4K (2560x1440 and 3840x2160).
How to play for free if I don't have any purchased games on my account and don't have the possibility to buy a tariff?
In this case, there are several ways that will help you try out the service:
- The main way is to complete daily tasks in the Game Center menu. There are both starting tasks, which reward you for activity on your VK Play account, and game tasks. We described the process more detailed in our article.
- Another way is to be up to date with our events in the VK group.
There are often promotions, discounts or seasonal events on our portal.
We immediately notify our players about them in a news post.
As for games, our service also has 2 ways to play without unnecessary expenses:
- There is a list of free projects in our Library.
Among them are such famous games as World of Tanks, Allods and the famous Genshin Impact. To play them, all you need to do is create an account in the required launcher and start the game (important: some launchers require you to add the game to your Library before starting a game session). - The second option is a Virtual Computer, which is a user Desktop with the ability to install games, programs and Internet surfing. The details of Virtual PC card functionality are described here.
FAQ:
Q: I have started a game session, but after 30 minutes of AFK I was thrown out, what can be the reason of it?
A: The thing is that on our platform the time of inactivity is limited and is equal to 30 minutes.
So, if during for 30 minutes in the game session there was no user's activity, the session will be finished.
Q: What should I do if I chose the wrong launcher the first time I launch the game, the game is in my Steam, and I chose Epic Games?
A: You can always change the game launcher in your account profile.
To do this: scroll down the page, there you will see the section “Run these games through”, where, in fact, you can choose the necessary launcher.
Q: Will my account information (Steam, Epic, EA app) be saved and is it safe to leave it open?
A: Yes, your login details will be saved, i.e. the next time you launch the game, your launcher account will already be open, but only if you have activated the “Remember me” option.
As for security, only you have access to all your data, as they are stored in your VK Play Cloud profile.
Q: How does the manual selection of servers work, why when I choose a configuration with a 3070 video card, I get a completely different one?
A: If you start a game session using manual server selection, for example, selecting RTX 3070, there is a chance that the configuration with this graphics card is already occupied, because the request for it is much higher. In this regard, you will automatically be provided with the server that is closest in terms of characteristics.
Q: Is it possible to connect VR-glasses on your platform?
A: Currently, our service does not support VR-technologies. But, perhaps, this functionality will appear in the future!
